Use Case:

• Patient Adverse reaction during Covid vaccine appt (Nurse on-site)

Response:

• Nurse to follow protocols as per the Standing Orders (see Provider Quick Reference Guide and Adverse Reaction Protocol). Utilize BLS training and call 911 for additional assistance if required.

Action:

• Vax team escalates to T+S immediately. Includes patient name, and FM/Nurse names in the escalation. T + S alerts insurance for Notice of Possible Claim as per protocols.
