Covid Hold Protocol

As of September 2023- Providers and Patients/Clients reporting positive Covid-19 tests are to be placed on a 10-day hold. As per the Criteria for Return to Work for Healthcare Personnel with SARS-CoV-2 Infection interim guidance from the CDC, healthcare practitioners within the Zeel network are eligible to submit a negative PCR test result to Zeel’s Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for consideration.

After receiving the CMO/Trust and Safety’s formal clearance, the healthcare practitioner is permitted to accept appointments on the Zeel platform within 24 hours of the negative test result submission if symptom-free. All transmission of data and test results will adhere to The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), Public Law 104-191.

Out of an abundance of caution for the health + safety of the network, we are placing you on a ten-day hold status. As per guidance from the CDC, providers are eligible to submit a negative PCR or negative rapid antigen test result to Zeel for consideration to return to the platform prior to the 10-day mark. You must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours. Please email your negative test results to help@zeel.com ATTN: Trust and Safety/Zeel Clinical Team. We will notify you when cleared to resume appointments.

Tier 2 and/or Patient Care Coordinator releases hold and informs provider. Slacks TS to make them aware of the action taken.
